Dance Acro Christmas Special

What's involved?

Christmas Bells are ringing! This year, we are hosting our first Dance Acro Christmas Special! An end-of-year holiday clinic that will see all of the participants putting their stunts, tricks and tumbling into a display dance with our qualified gymnastics coaches. This Christmas Special will be great way to end the year by practicing more advanced acro skills using the sprung floor, trampolines and foam pit, as well as assistance and spotting from experienced and qualified gymnastics coaches. Pre-requisite skills include a bridge, bridge kick-over, handstand and cartwheel. Each dancer, athlete and gymnast should be able to complete these skills before attending the Dance Acro Christmas Special. This session will be led by Emma Darcy, Advanced Silver WAG Coach and founder of Gymnastics Birthday Parties at Koorana Gymnastics Club. Emma is also a sports physiotherapist, an ex-gymnast, ex-dancer and total Christmas lover! Emma will be assisted by Breanna Trehearne and Hannah Ralph, Intermediate WAG Coaches, who currently work together to coach Level 5 gymnasts at Koorana Gymnastics. These girls are more than equipped with the knowledge and experience to help you with your acro skills, and produce an exciting show at the end for your parents and families to film and show on Christmas Day. Session Times include: Wednesday 18th December 1-3pm Ideal for children aged 8-14 years old who have the pre-requisite skills. And because it's Christmas, each child will take home a small Christmas gift from us. Merry Christmas!
